Boycott Band Associated with Vandalism at Memorial
The photo is of paint on the walks surrounding the Memorial advertising a band. The individuals responsible were captured in the act by the Memorial’s surveillance cameras which shows a man and woman placing stencils and spraying paint on the walkways to advertise the band Gorrillaz and it’s latest album. The band is playing on July 12 at the Festival Pier. This happened on April 23 and 6th District police officers are investigating. please contact the 6th District at 215-686-3060. Thanks to CouncilmanMark Squilla and CLIP, the graffiti has been removed. This is outrageous that someone would desecrate the Memorial to advertise a band. The concertshould be boycotted.
